The Model A Ford was manufactured from October 20th 1927 thru March 1932. Over 4,849,340 Model A's were produced.. The most famous automobile ever produced. The original tudor sedan sold for $500.00
Club History
The Rio Grande Valley A's Model A Ford Club was started in the 1980's by Tim Johnstone of McAllen Texas. In November of 2012, a group of Model A enthusiasts were organizing a Model A club under the umbrella of the Model A Ford Club of America. When discussions between Carl Lueg and Tim Johnstone revealed that they wanted the group to assume the original club and retain the original club name. The changes were made with the Model A Ford Club of America in January 2013. The club had in the 1980's over 50 active members.
The Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the Month at Martha's Restaurant in Donna, Texas
